I decided that to make up for my slacking over the break, I'm going to use the hours and hours of reading I need to catch up on this week as a read-a-thon fundraiser for the MS Walk. I hope we get TONS more reading to do this week. Mua ha ha. (I posted about this in my blog, just thought it'd tickle you guys.)

I am... I'm still working on my essay and still stuck in the second paragraph
ReplyDeletePoor Heart of Darkness. The "haze" bit is right. I certainly don't feel like I'm getting a lot out of it, but I can see why the adaptation to film was set in Vietnam. The last few pages especially struck me.

It's an interesting book, definitely worth reading. If you do read it, tell me what you think! I read it in AP English senior year but I don't really remember much of it...heh
