Landscape with a Calm

Hello all!

I'm Brooke, the one with the big long Dr Who scarf who knits in class ;)

I thought having some links to the picture we looked at in class might be nice:

This one is the site we looked at.

This one is slightly larger on a dark background, but with some distracting elements around it.

Have a good weekend!

Brooke

  1. Thanks, Brooke! The painting is really different from what we looked at this morning. I must say it really was great to see a painting while reading Gray and Blake's poems.~!! \(@_@)/

  2. No problem. I noticed the details were a bit hard to see (I don't just sit front and center to steal instructors' attentions; I actually have some weird little eye problems). It might be fun to share some art we find with similar themes to our readings.

I was disappointed the anthology doesn't have the engraving for Blake's Poison Tree:

It was the first engraving by Blake I saw, and I love the style.
